As a former elected national officer and National Legislative Chairman for the Disabled American Veterans during the 88th Congress, he had unusually broad experiences in the drafting and sponsoring of the legislation on behalf of America's wartime disabled.
SIDNEY SILLER, born in Bronx County, New York, served in World War II with the 48th Field Artillery Battalion, as Sergeant Major, Infantry Division, Pacific Theater of Operations and later with U.S. Army Military Government in Korea.
He is a graduate of Brooklyn College, Brooklyn Law School, and attended N.Y. University's Graduate Division of Public Administration, and was selected for "Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities". He is presently the Executive Director of the New York Criminal and Civil Courts Bar Association.
